Hometown Evening ("Hometown Memories III")
Hometown Evening Depicts the center of Thom's quaint home town of Placerville CA when he was a boy.
Thom takes the opportunity to showcase some of his favorite vintage cars in his artwork including the oh-so-elegant 1932 Ford Coupe.
In a recent PBS Biography, Thomas said Hometown Evening is one of his
most treasured creations. While all three are certainly nostalgia pieces... this
one was special to him because it gave him the opportunity to paint his
favorite classic car: a "32 Ford Coupe and also because he experimented with a
technique that brought the lights in Town Center to a new level of "golden
realness".
Hometown Evening features 7 hidden N's in tribute to his wife, Nanette.

match every brushstroke of Thom's original! Upon satisfactory completion,
Thom finishes all the Hand Highlighting and Hand Signs the front of canvas in
GOLD! Hand Remarque and Hand Signed on back of each canvas.
Finally, a foil-stamped gold Studio Proof seal is applied to the back. Each
Studio Proof is designated by the letters S/P after the print number
(starting 7-99 with "Conquering The Storms" Thomas Kinkade will spend more
time with the Hand Touched Oil work on each Studio Proof)
