Hometown Morning is the sixth painting in Thomas Kinkade's popular Hometown Memories series.
Hometown Morning depicts a paperboy, representing a young teenage Thomas Kinkade, being chased by a neighborhood dog on his Sunday morning
route. The newspaper that Kinkade is delivering is called the "Daily Beacon," a name similar to
the official newsletter of the Thomas Kinkade Collector's Society - "The Beacon."
Hometown Morning features 12 hidden N's in tribute to his wife, Nanette. It was while delivering
his papers that Kinkade first met Nanette.
