The Heart of San Francisco - A Painting based on the North Beach area, which Thom feels is truly the heart of San Francisco - Thom idealized the North Beach area for this painting. It's a nostalgic viewpoint - The vantage point for the painting was Broadway Street - This is the first release in The Heart of San Francisco Collection - Tony Bennett is pictured in the painting - Thom is shown, in the image, on his Harley, with the actual color scheme of his bike- ~~~ Other gems in the painting include:       - '61 Cadillac Coup de Ville       - '57 Chevy Bel Air       - '41 Plymouth       - 20 N's for Nanette, signifying the 20th anniversary of the first San Francisco themed painting Thom created       - The license plate on the yellow checkered cab commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake ~~~Thom used a magnification system when creating this painting, for the first time.
