"MAN THROUGH DOOR" A Hand Sketch by Thomas Kinkade This hand sketch drawn by Thomas Kinkade was created for the 2007 Movie Titled "The Christmas Cottage". The Movie portrays the life of Thomas Kinkade. This sketch represents an event during the early part of Thom's life. When Thom was approximately 5 years old, his father simply packed his bags and walked out the door abandoning Thom and his mother leaving them to fend for themselves. This abandonment was a very traumatic event for Thom and it has followed him throughout his life. Thom captured the sorrow felt by him seeing his father walk away into the night.
